ANHYDROUS MUDGUN MASS
This mass is used in Blast Furnace for closing the Blast Furnace metal tap hole; it is used by Mudgun Machine. This will be supplied in cake shaped pieces. Each piece weighs around 2 to 3 kgs approximately. It is drilled in 1 hr to 11/2 hr. intervals. During drilling process it gives excellent tap hole length and free from coke – rust. This mass is used in every capacity of Blast Furnaces.
The special features of Anhydrous Mudgun Mass are as follows:-
1. Adequate plasticity at room temp thereby allowing its application without prior Heating.
2. Operation of Blast Furnace at a higher blast pressure ( 2 to 6ATM )
3. Low shrinkage and volume stability.
4. No drilling problem during Tap hole opening.
5. It gives excellent shelf life (4 weeks minimum)
6. It gives higher refractoriness.
7. Good resistance to material to oxidation and slag attack.

ANHYDROUS TROUGH MASS
This mass is used in main runner, side slag runner of the blast furnace. This is coarser powdered material of grain size 0 to 4 mm. This material gives enough strength after complete ramming and drying the bed. This is thermosetting process, so compact ability increases after complete heating of the mass. It is suitable for the various temperatures of liquid metal and of very high quality and capable of ensuring longer refractory life. This mass is supplied in ready to use condition and no further processing is required by the end user.
The salient features of the product are as follows:
1. Corrosion resistance from slag
2. Non-wettable to iron and slag
3. Thermal stability and shock resistance
4. Volume stability
5. Structural integrity
